Wurlitzer 1015 – The Definitive Jukebox
Often called the most recognizable jukebox ever made, the Wurlitzer 1015 set the standard when it launched in 1946. With its iconic bubble tubes, animated lighting, and rich sound, it sold over 56,000 units in just 18 months and became synonymous with the word “jukebox” itself.
Designed by Paul Fuller and produced at the height of America’s post-war optimism, the 1015 holds 24 x 78rpm records with a front-facing title card display. It remains a landmark in design and audio history—an enduring symbol of mid-century Americana.
This particular model is in incredible condition as it has been fully restored, retaining all the hallmarks of the classic Wurlitzer design, including a rich walnut cabinet, curved lighted facade, chrome filigree detailing, and Art Deco-inspired mirror moulding. The interior showcases period-accurate restoration, including walnut trim, cloth lining, chrome record holders, tonearm components, and other aluminium features. All bubble tubes are fully operational, and the multi-colour light wheels rotate smoothly and quietly.
