Special Note – Rare Butlins Red Finish
This particular Ditchburn MK6 is finished in original “Butlins Red”, a rare colour variant not commonly seen. While many assume red Ditchburn jukeboxes were repainted by collectors, this machine’s unique colour has been verified through restoration and collector insight. It was originally discovered in a Butlins holiday camp near Scarborough, where it was supplied directly by Ditchburn in their signature red livery for Butlins venues.
If you come across a Ditchburn jukebox in bright red, there’s a strong chance it was part of this special batch made specifically for Butlins locations—making this piece not just collectible, but also a rare example of custom factory-supplied jukeboxes with documented provenance.
This model is a true piece of jukebox history—both rare and visually striking. A perfect addition for collectors, vintage venues, or music lovers seeking a unique centerpiece.
